FC Highland Secures Exclusive Use of Trotters Park After Winning Bid from The City of Orlando

The team at FC Highland, led by Jeremy Christie as well as current and ex-professional’s soccer players, added another feather to their hat by recently securing exclusive use of Trotters Park Soccer fields. This comes after winning a bid from the City of Orlando. The feat is laudable, considering that FC Highland is less than two years old and is already making a huge impact across Orlando.

Soccer continues to evolve globally amidst increasing popularity across age groups. The case is not particularly different in Orlando and the rest of the United States, with FC Highland practically raising the bar for developing the next superstars, as substantiated by the recent acquisition of Trotters Park, Orlando.

The recent achievement will allow FC Highland exclusive access to the fields in the park for 5 years as well as other related facilities. Fenced in and gated, making it safe and secure, It’s the best soccer facility located centrally in Orlando, close to downtown, College Park and Winter Park.

The park was redeveloped in 2003, housing 4-lighted soccer fields, restroom and concession facilities and lighting. Trotters Park will offer the right environment to learn and play and grow as a player, with the team of instructors and coaches at FC Highland leveraging their years of experience and expertise to help students achieve their goals. The surface is the consistently the best of any fields in the city.

FC Highland currently has over 250 kids playing soccer weekly, with a camp program, school program, and an amazing coaching team to deliver an all-inclusive experience to young, aspiring players.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have won this bid,” co-Founder Jeremy Christie said. “We are lucky enough to work with incredible coaches and players and now to have secured such a top of the range venue to train and play on is the icing on the cake to this season. I never thought we would see the successes we have in such a short time, and I am so thankful to our sponsors, coaches, players and their families for the continues support that is allowing us to leverage this club to new levels in Central Florida.”
